Rabat is the capital city of Morocco and is the seventh largest city within the country. It has a population of over 1.2 million.

Rabat is a cultural feast for the senses. You can walk around the Kasbah of the Oudaias to appreciate its colourful streets and trendy cafes. Enter this charming little quarter through the Porte Des Oudaias, which is the main gate into this neighbourhood.

Stroll through the Andalusian Gardens, located right next to the Kasbah. Here you can find an idyilic spot to rest and have a coffee. The Medina of Rabat is much larger than some of the others medinas in Morocco .The best area to explore is the Rue des Consuls.

You can learn more about the city through its museums. One of them is the Museum of History and Civilizations of Rabat which features archaeological discoveries from the Banassa, Thamusida, and Volubilis periods.

Whatever you choose to do in Rabat, it will be a unique and memorable experience of a lifetime, with a Guides4me guide, who will look after you and by the end of the trip you’ve made a best friend.
