How to Book Your Private Local Guide
Booking a personalised travel experience with Guides4me is simple and secure. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the adventure.
Step 1: Choose Your Destination
Explore our interactive map or browse our Destinations list to find a local guide in over 280 destinations worldwide. Whether it’s for a solo trip or a private shore excursion, we have the perfect match for you.
Step 2: Secure Your Booking
To reserve your private guide, you pay a small booking fee in advance. The booking fee is $39 for one day, $69 for two days and capped at just $99 for three days or more. Once you secure your booking, we reserve your chosen guide for your requested dates. We accept:
Step 3: Personalise Your Itinerary
Once you secure your booking, we introduce you directly to your guide. You can then discuss your interests, decide what you would like to see and arrange a convenient meeting point. Together, you can create a private experience that suits you.
Step 4: Explore and Pay Locally
Meet your guide and enjoy your tailor-made tour! After your tour, simply pay the remaining fee directly to your guide in local cash

If you have an enquiry for a destination that is not currently shown, please still Contact Us. Although we may not yet feature that destination on the website, we have access to a database of more than 1,000 guides. Therefore, we will always do our best to find a suitable local guide for you.
Your booking fee acts as a non-refundable deposit. Once you have paid the booking fee, we will pass your contact details to your Guides4me guide. Then, your guide will contact you directly so you can discuss and personalise your day together. Finally, after your tour, you pay the remaining guide fee directly to your guide in local cash.
