Bucaramanga has many other places of interest for tourists. For example, its towering Catedral de la Sagrada Familia and the centuriy’s old chapel called the Capilla de los Dolores. This is a prime example of the cultural heritage of Columbia.

Bucaramanga has one of Colombia’s vibrant nightlife scenes, rivaling larger cities like Bogotá and Medellín.

Giron

Girón belongs to the Tourist Network of Colombian Heritage Towns. It is located 5 miles south of Bucaramanga. The “white city” belongs on this list because of its perfectly preserved colonial zone. Here, visitors take a trip back in time as they walk down cobblestone streets and admire 16th –18th century houses.

Páramo de Santurbán

Mesa de los Santos

The town of Los Santos is 62 kilometres south of Bucaramanga. Here you can appreciate a view of the canyon. Mesa de los Santos is at 1700 metres above sea level. You can find coffee plantations and birds such as azulejo palmero.

Also, there is a cable car that connects different places in the Chicamocha National Park. In addition to all these cultural activities, you can visit many typical Santander villages of the region.
