Cruise Ships Visiting Da Nang

Most international cruise ships visiting Da Nang dock at Tien Sa Port, including vessels from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), MSC Cruises, Costa Cruises, Ponant and many luxury cruise lines. Tien Sa Port is located on the scenic Son Tra Peninsula, approximately 10 km (20–30 minutes) from Da Nang city centre. Some itineraries, particularly those combining visits to Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue, instead berth at Chan May Port, which welcomes cruise lines such as Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Cunard, Viking, Mein Schiff and Silversea. Chan May Port is approximately 55 km from Da Nang and 60 km from Hue, with transfer times of around 60–75 minutes.

Visit Da Nang’s famous attractions, the Marble Mountains, Hoi An Ancient Town, local markets and hidden gems, stop whenever you wish for photographs or refreshments, and experience authentic Vietnamese culture at your own pace.

Every private shore excursion is carefully planned around your ship’s arrival and departure times, giving you complete peace of mind while enjoying an unforgettable day exploring Da Nang, Hoi An or Hue, before returning safely to your cruise ship with plenty of time to spare.

Da Nang is a coastal city in central Vietnam.

Well known for its sandy beaches and impressive bridges. Travellers often use the city simply as a transit stop. Therefore they miss out on so much. It is very popular, this is mainly where the residents of Hanoi choose to take their summer holidays.

Dragon Bridge of Da Nang

This 666m bridge over the River Han is shaped like a dragon, which symbolises prosperity. Above all, it’s definitely a sight to behold, especially at night, when it’s illuminated by sparkling lights. The dragon even spouts water and breathes fire from its mouth during shows at weekends.

Marble Mountains

Located south of Da Nang, Marble Mountains are a cluster of five dramatic limestone hills. Each one is named after a natural element. You can climb one of them, Thuy Son (Water), with a relatively easy hike. Travel past intricate cave temples and shrines. Reach the top and you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the city.

Whatever you choose to do in Da Nang, it will be a unique and memorable experience. With a Guides4me guide, you will feel safe, supported, and well looked after. By the end of your trip, you will have more than a guide, you will have a new friend.
