Bsharri lies approximately 120 kilometres north-east of Beirut. The journey from Beirut usually takes around two and a half to three hours, depending on traffic and mountain road conditions.
The town is approximately 40 kilometres from Tripoli. Travelling from Tripoli normally takes around one hour to one and a half hours. Bsharri therefore makes an excellent day trip from Tripoli or a rewarding stop during a longer tour of northern Lebanon.
