Dimitrios
Dimitrios is 37 years old, LGBT friendly and speaks Greek and English. Also has very good knowledge of Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, and Russian.
Dimitrios would be thrilled to be your personal guide and travel companion in Athens, Delphi and beyond. Born in Chalkida, just north of Athens, he has explored nearly 100 countries, bringing a rich, open-minded perspective and a deep appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life.
Endlessly curious, Dimitrios is passionate about learning and creating. He’s drawn to history, language, science, and philosophy, and channels his creativity into writing, music, and photography. With five books and several music releases under his belt, he’s as expressive as he is thoughtful. He also finds joy in outdoor adventures like hiking, snowboarding, and surfing, as well as the strategic calm of chess.
Though his main work is in tech, guiding travellers through Greece is a beloved side passion. For Dimitrios, it’s more than showing sights, it’s about sharing stories, soaking in beauty, and making genuine connections. If you want to explore Greece with someone who truly loves it, you’ll be in great company.
Total cost for the guide services of Dimitrios for one day (13 hours) = a booking fee of 33 Euro via Paypal, debit / credit cards, bank transfer or Crypto Currency plus 350 Euro in cash to Dimitrios after his services. This makes a total of 383 Euro.
This INCLUDES transport, fuel and toll road costs and the journey time is approx 4.5 hours each way from Athens.
“Dimi was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly easy to connect with. His passion for Greece shines through in everything he does, and spending time with him felt like exploring with a good friend.” – Chris, USA.
Highlights of Meteora
Meteora is one of Greece’s most spectacular and otherworldly destinations. Located in central Greece, near the town of Kalambaka, it is famous for its towering rock formations and ancient monasteries perched atop them. The name “Meteora” means “suspended in the air,” and the view of these cliff-top sanctuaries truly lives up to that name.
What Can You See at Meteora?
Monasteries on the Cliffs
There were once 24 monasteries, but today only six are active and open to visitors:
Great Meteoron (the largest)
Varlaam

St. Stephen’s
Holy Trinity (famous from a James Bond movie!)
Breathtaking Views & Sunset Spots
The views from the top are incredible. Panoramic vistas of the Thessalian Plain and the surrounding mountains.
Rock Formations & Hiking Trails
The rock pillars themselves are a geological wonder, and there are well-marked hiking trails for nature lovers and photographers.

Inside the monasteries, you’ll find religious icons, ancient manuscripts, and beautifully preserved frescoes.
