A favorite weekend getaway for Bangkok residents. Hua Hin is a pretty and relaxed beachside town that offers warm and welcoming Thai hospitality. You won’t find all-night partying and the seedier aspects of other nearby more well known resorts.

It was once a small fishing village, it has been transformed into a royal resort. It’s these close ties with Thai royalty that ensure Hua Hin won’t become overdeveloped or lose its small town vibe. The City has many incredible powdery sand beaches, mountains, temples, night markets, water parks and fine dining restaurants to choose from.

Just down the coast at Takiab Bay, you can take seaside horse rides and visit a hilltop Buddhist temple with a spectacular view.

In addition to the Hua Hin attractions. Why not visit Khao Takiap? This is one of the biggest attractions in the Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Its name translates as ‘Chopstick Mountain’, although it is usually referred to as ‘Monkey Mountain’ due to the monkeys that live on it.

The mountain has a hilltop temple with sensational views of Hua Hin. The start of the hike up to the temple is marked by a large bell and a flight of stairs up to the main shrine, which is a pagoda-like structure.

Whatever you choose to do in Thailand, it will be a unique and memorable experience of a lifetime, with a Guides4me guide, who will look after you and by the end of the trip you’ve made a best friend.
