Endlessly curious, Dimitrios is passionate about learning and creating. He’s drawn to history, language, science, and philosophy, and channels his creativity into writing, music, and photography. With five books and several music releases under his belt, he’s as expressive as he is thoughtful. He also finds joy in outdoor adventures like hiking, snowboarding, and surfing, as well as the strategic calm of chess.

Highlights of Delphi
Delphi, once considered the centre of the world in ancient Greek mythology, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in central Greece. It was home to the famous Oracle of Apollo and remains one of the most atmospheric archaeological sites in the country.
What to See in Delphi
The Temple of Apollo
The heart of ancient Delphi, where the Pythia (priestess) would deliver the oracles. Its ruins still stand majestically, offering a glimpse into the spiritual core of ancient Greece.
The Delphi Theatre
Set dramatically on the hillside, this well-preserved theatre offers sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valley below. It once seated 5,000 spectators.
The Athenian Treasury
Built to commemorate the Athenians’ victory at Marathon, this small but impressive structure showcases fine Doric architecture.
The Ancient Stadium
Located at the top of the site, the stadium hosted the Pythian Games, similar to the Olympics. It’s one of the best-preserved ancient stadiums in Greece.
The Tholos of Delphi (Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia)
A circular building located a short walk from the main site. Its elegant ruins, surrounded by olive groves and mountains, are a favorite for photographers.
Delphi Archaeological Museum
One of Greece’s top museums, housing statues, inscriptions, and artifacts found at the site. Don’t miss the famous Charioteer of Delphi, a bronze statue from 470 BC.
